I've actually been in touch with the Clinic checking into them. I also have a retired doctor friend who checked with his daughter who works for a Cancer Research company. She said they have dealt with them and they are bad news. He is also checking with a doctor buddy he has in Houston to find out what knows about them. I've been searching all over the internet for Testimonials and the only thing out there is the 2 on their site where their clients testify in front of Congress. I thought, if they cured me I'd be screaming it on the internet so where are the people they cured? I can't find anything.

I can tell you they charge $13k plus to test you to find out what kind of drugs you need and you have to plunk that down upfront out of pocket. See if you can find anything on "side effects" of these drugs. I can't. I can also tell you that when they checked with my insurance company that they said they would pay 50% which is what they pay for any Out Of Network provider. However, they do not commit to it until they get the actual treatment plan (including the drugs) and meantime you shelled out $13K plus to find out! Someone pointed out that this "documentary" is really an advertisement for the Clinic. I see Pam picked up on that too.

Please do not think I am trying to bash Burzynski's Clinic. I really had high hopes they might could cure me until very recently. Now I am way too skeptical to take any chances. My life is at stake and I don't have time to make mistakes.

Could you tell us a little about it. When I click on it, it takes quite some time to come up. I finally clicked out, since it didn't come up in a reasonable time - I'm always a bit nervous about sites that do that, because I am concerned re: malware or cookies.

Pam, The odd hyper-line: I checked it out, looks like a scam to try and get you to join with a membership fee. Bogus "treatments" that really amount to nothing, big words with legal jargon. Wouldn't touch it. B)

For Carolyn - I would like to know what you did to "check them out"....As said I have been in touch with them personally numerous times and there is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE. Yesterday I spoke with a friend of mine who has been to the Clinic and met Dr. Burzynski. She was very impressed and urged me to go. There IS a $13k plus deposit you have to make for testing that they use to determine what drugs you need to take to turn off the gene that is causing your cancer.

Pam - I am surprised that you take one person's word as the "gospel" There are many anti-Burzynski posts on the net and it's like Pete and Re-Pete. Anyone working in the Cancer Industry would hate anyone who cures it because it puts them out of business and jobs. So you have to know who is behind the negative posts.

I just want to get to the truth. What disturbs me is I don't see any "Thank God, he cured me" posts on the net. When I told my friend that she said there are a zillion pictures of people he cured there at the Clinic.

I spoke only to the video - which I could not get to come up and which acted weirdly in two of my browsers. I was leaving Carolyn's comment about the video. If she was speaking about the actual Burzynski clinic, I misunderstood. I tried to get Smeden to comment on what the video was about and he didn't do so. I thought that Carolyn was following up with that thought.

I have no experience with Burzynski, other than I've been following his persecution by the AMA, pharmaceutical and local gub.
