Room temperature shelf life of MMS is about 18 months. HCL about 4 years.

How to make HCL Part B The G2CU Easy Way!Making a 4oz/120ml bottle of HCL (Hydrochloric Acid)Tools & Supplies 0-200g scale, distilled water, 200ml beaker, 100ml beaker, 50ml beaker, 37% HCL, pipette, plastic stirring tool, empty 4oz/120ml bottle, a plastic funnelStep 1. Set a 0 - 200g scale to grams. Place a 200g/ml beaker on a scale and tare.Step 2. Pour 107.0g/ml of distilled water into the beaker. Remove off of the scale.Step 3. Place a 50g/ml beaker onto the scale and tare.Step 4. Using proper safety methods, pour 15.0g/ml 37% HCL acid into this beaker, thenStep 5. Pour the HCL acid into the 200g/ml beaker of distilled water. It is now diluted to 4%. Finalize by: Pouring contents of both beakers, into a 4 oz/ml dropper bottle.Label it Part B, 4% HCL Acid

Max's recipe to make 4% HCL from 37% HCL is:
15 grams of 37% HCL + 107 grams of water
37% HCL weighs 1.9 grams per milliliter
15 grams ÷ 1.9 = 12.6 ml of 37% HCL (round up to 13 ml)
Add 13 ml (15 grams) of 37% HCL to 107 ml (107 grams) of water = 120 ml (4 fl oz) of 4% HCL
Using the online calculator, we find that:
I have always measured 37% (or 31.45%) HCL by volume in the past, but now I think I will weigh it. Thanks, Max!
