Open sore on foot

My mother in law has an open sore on her foot. She has diabetes. I had her soak her feet in distilled and bentonite clay. I have done the DMSO allergy test and am waiting to see if she gets pain in her liver. Is it ok to spray the wound with DMSO and MMS1? Would it help it heal faster?

And neuropathy, what helps the best with the pain? She is in so much pain and I just want to help her
