MMS1 accidentally down the drain to septic

We have an aerobic septic system and I was soaking my carrots in filtered water and adding some MMS1 but accidentally after activating the MMS1 and adding it to water some over flowed in the container and went down the drain, not much maybe less than 1 cup. I was going to add some of the treatments packs we put in our toilet once a month to keep the septic healthy. I'm thinking it might have gone down the pipe but not completely to the septic cause there was not enough water to wash it down to the septic. Any suggestions?

Your sink water should not be going into your septic tank. My house runs on water from water tanks treated with chlorine dioxide and the toilet uses that water. Our septic tank works just fine. I check regularly.

That is a relief to hear. Can I ask you how you treat your water with chlorine dioxide? You have a tank so I am thinking you add chlorine dioxide to it to purify it like facilities do. We are looking to switch to that for us but wasn't sure how to do it at that scale. Thank you for sharing your experience and helping us understand more. Be Blessed.

Thank you for your insight. Before I read your post I had thought to put in one of our treatments (that we add in our toilet at bedtime once a month). I have to agree with you. I was thinking the same thing. I heard the gases once they are gone, it poses no harm to the septic. Be Blessed and thank you for sharing, it truly gave me some peace of mind. So far, I haven't seen any signs that it affected my septic (alarm going off to the septic or any other issues). We just had it serviced last month. Fingers crossed that God blesses us with no issues on our septic.

Depends how much you spilled, of course, but there is so much oxidant demand in your septic system that it will be gone without a trace within minutes, and you will probably never even know that it happened.  Might even help a little, but don't go dumping gallons of the stuff in there.

Thank you. So far I haven't seen any issues of a problem. We are so careful about not putting it down the drain. Maybe a half a cup went into the drain. God Bless and thank you for your wisdom....learning.
