Dr. Kalcker's Umbilical Protocol

Wondering if anyone has any experience with Dr. Kalcker's umbilical Protocol.
1ml CDS with 10 ml water; soak cotton ball in solution, drain some of the liquid off and place in belly button - repeat every hour.
I'm using 1 drop activated MMS instead with 10ml of water.  
I'm doing it for my husband who has Epididymitis (swelling of the testicle essentially) He had it before and went to emergency room - got antibiotics of course.
Seems this protocol has broken a fever and he generally feels a little better. We are in our second day.
Will try to update if it helps, but was mostly curious if anyone has used the umbilical protocol.  My husband HATES the taste of the CDS or MMS and won't even entertain it except this protocol.  Thanks for any input available.

Add Coke or Pepsi to mask the taste.
