How to treat animals? was created by RFKennedyJrforPrez
Hello again,
I trained under a wildlife rehabber to support orphaned and injured wildlife. Unfortunately, I cannot get antibiotics (I'm not licensed) for the wild squirrels that come to eat when they're too injured to forage for themselves. I have a few that need help, and I'm wondering if MMS is a possible solution.
For instance, I have one little guy with an infected foot - it appears to be an abscessed cat bite. Very swollen, red puncture wound, and he won't put weight on it.
Any experience with this?
Any ideas about how to dose him? He's a full grown young adult, probably weighs about 300 grams.
I can't always get him to drink, but I can definitely hide something in a little nut butter. Is there a way to hide some MMS in nut butter? Or would the nut butter just interfere with the medicine?
Heartfelt thanks in advance for any input.

THANK YOU GOOD SOUL FOR TAKING CARE OF THE POOR ANIMALS!!!! I sprayed myself with CDH several times a day on my wound and did it like this: I took a 100ml baby bottle. Instead of a pacifier, I took a cap. Everything is made of plastic and silicone, so it seals well. I added 2 ml of MMS, 36 ml of hot distilled water and 2 ml of HCL acid and quickly closed the lid, I waited for it to cool approx. 3 hours. Then I added another 30 ml of distilled water. I poured it all into a spray bottle and sprayed the wound. She greeted me very nicely. I think this would be good for a squirrel too. You must not then wrap the wound with a bandage, but the CDH must dry on the wound. You can do this 3 times a day.

Maybe put out two bowls of water, one with a few drops of MMS and another with just a few drops of sodium chlorite. You could also have a third with just plain water.
