CDS expiration was created by CAO
I made CDS solution several months ago and have been using it on and off for my elderly cat. I keep it in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator. How long will this solution still be good when stored in this way? I don't want to make more unless I have to, but I'm using so very little at a time right now that I do wonder about it's expiration date and I haven't found that information anywhere. Also, is it ok to store in the refrigerator or will it last longer stored in a dark cabinet? Thank you for any responses.

Definitely keep it in the fridge. CDS above 11 degrees Celsius will gas off until there is nothing but water left.
I don't use CDS but people have said they have kept CDS as long as 6 months in the fridge. It depends on how often you open it and if it is sealed airtight.
Definitely test it now and then with LaMotte 3002 test strips to make sure exactly what you are using.
