I had similar thoughts of why it went offline. Along those lines,I just read a news article on how the FDA wants to STOP all homeopathic and natural remedies (even common vitamins).  I'm stocking up on these:
1.MMS
2.BORAX/BORON
3.NAC
4.QUERCETIN 
5.VITAMIN C
6.VITAMIN D
7.MSM POWDER
8.MELATONIN
9.GRAPE SEED EXTRACT
 (and others as I think of them)
