Genetic Mutation MTHFR Question was created by W.Ide
Hello, I'm new to the forum and would like to get information that anyone who might know—I have a genetic mutation that I have discovered will not allow me to detox from mold. I read and understand the protocol from the book, and as an aside, have not begun, but I have tried SO MANY PROTOCOLS from so many "providers" and I'm pretty much worn out. I'm 67 and have been ill all my life on one level or another and only recently discovered the mold mycotoxin connection. I'm on charcoal and diatomaceous earth and have been for 3 months with no results. I've now ingested enough of the information in the book that I believe I could get started with MMS but have two questions: 1.) Is it going to address and correct the MTHFR mutation thus allowing me to begin detoxing and 2.) If I begin the regimen, should I continue the protocol I'm on with the D-earth and charcoal or switch to Bentonite clay or one of the others that Jim mentions. OR should I stop the mold detox before beginning and add it in later as per the protocol mentions? Opinions on whether or not the Diatomaceous Earth is adequate are also appreciated. Thank-you any and all for your educated response. I'm desperate to find wellness, Wendy

Thanks BillPopMMS for your reply. Okay, just the clay....Well, It's worth a try and definitely simple. I've been on the diatomaceous earth and charcoal for 31/2 months. I wonder if switching will do anything different. I understand it will take time. After all, I've been ill with this for years and years. Just never knew that it was the mold. Apparently the gene mutation is one that prohibits detoxification. I'll just keep on keeping on. Thanks again for your suggestion.
