The color of activated sodium chlorite was created by jamesadrian
I saw a video the showed the color after one minute of sodium chlorine being mixed with a couple drops of dilute HCL.  Maybe it is the lighting, but I see it as green instead of orange.  It is the first time I bought a chlorine dioxide kit.  I bought it from KV Lab.  Also, everybody says it tastes terrible, but it isn't very bad at all. Should I try another vendor?

Just to be clear, we're talking about Sodium Chlorite (not Chlorine or Chloride).
To most people it shouldn't be neither green or orange, but rather a yellowish-brown. Having said that, some people see amber as orange and others as yellow.

Just make sure that you're mixing Sodium Chlorite at 25% and Hydrogen Chloride at 4%.

In low doses it's generally tasteless but again, everybody has different sensibilities and some might notice it more than others.

Don't you mean Hydrochloric Acid at 4%.

Try mixing a 5 drop dose as it is hard to tell sometimes with a small 1 drop dose.
