Storing CDS in a brown glass bottle with dropper top? was created by John1
Just wondering if it is ok to store CDS in a brown glass bottle with a common dropper top on it?
Since the dropper top is made of some type of rubber material, just want to be sure the CDS won't break it down.

I have been using a brown 1 oz. bottle with a dropper to store some CDS. After more than a year, I haven't noticed any degradation.

To be on the safe side, I'd only use a dropper made from HDPE. You could be adding rubber to the solution without even knowing it!

You can still use the droppers though, but I find that they tend to have larger drops than drops that the HDPE plastic dropper bottles have.

Yeah I made this mistake and bought a whole bunch and only realised it later on.To be on the safe side, I'd only use a dropper made from HDPE. You could be adding rubber to the solution without even knowing it!
