Insomnia was created by Cmomlq
I had my first day of the start protocol yesterday. I have been awake since 3:30 with the worst insomnia I've had in years. I ate some chocolate after the 8 hours of dosing. Could that have caused this? I had read that it was okay to have chocolate 2 hours after the last MMS1. Or is chocolate a No-No during the first three weeks?

I don't think chocolate would do that.

Anxiety may be the reason for your insomnia.

You took 1/4 drop doses for 8 hours?

Chocolate has naturally caffeine. Caffeine is a drug that alters the nerve system. I personally am very sensitive to caffeine and do not consume anything that has caffeine in it. So yes, I do not drink coffee. Never did ( my parents never drank coffee). I enjoy a herbal tea once in a while.

So avoid chocolate, particularly at night and see if you can sleep better. It is my experience and that of those who are taking Cl02 that sleep is better the day one takes Cl02. Actually at the very beginning I felt more sleepy. I needed a nap a few times so did others that I talked to.

"Actually at the very beginning I felt more sleepy."

That is a common Herxheimer reaction when first starting to take CLO2.

I get insomnia with the MMS, and I have heard others say the same. It can help to finish the protocol as early as possible during the day, and take a lower dose.

If you are sensitive to caffeine, chocolate may keep you awake, although I am finding that MMS is causing me to have insomnia.

I cut the chocolate out completely. I was eating it daily for years for the lift that the theobromine gave me: it had not caused insomnia until I started the MMS. I'm not having insomnia most nights now but in the beginning doing the start protocol for the first time I had a lot of insomnia.

I'm now 3 weeks in and having a difficult time but I'm understanding how this works better. I see it's got to be a marathon and not a sprint for me. I got up to the three drops a day and found it made me really sick so I'm back at a quarter drop and sometimes an eighth😅 I have chronic lyme disease so I've been through roller coasters before and this is another one, but I'm hoping to get some good results eventually...
