CDS Bottle was left open for 14 hours was created by Rin
Hello, I have a 750ml CDS bottle , it was accidentally left open for about 14-16 hours.
Is it even worth using now? Or should I just make a new one?
Thanks!

If it was at 50F (10C) or lower temperature, CLO2 outgassing may not have been too much. If above that temperature, probably most of the CLO2 is gone.
Try not to leave the cap off for more than a few seconds, keep it out of sunlight, even indirect sunlight (ultraviolet rays are bad for CLO2 water solutions), and store the bottle in a fridge.
Now that CDS can be made in about 3 hours (Quick CDS), normally there is no need to make such large quantities of CDS. Make daily what you need for that day.
