I know that cats have a lower hcl in their stomach. Would dosing the drinking water be effective for keeping general health with straight MMS?

Some people do add unactivated MMS to their animal's drinking water in a non-metalic bowl.

Thank you CLO2. Would you suggest maybe 1-2 drops in say, 2 cups of distilled water for maintenance?

It is difficult to say what the dosage should be. You don't want to overdose. I would start with one drop per day and try 2 drops the next day with a fresh batch. I would throw away any remaining water from the previous day.
