Using 0,5 gram pure sodium chlorite tablets + HCl to make CDS, who has experience?

I am investigating if it is possible and if it is a good idea to use sodium chlorite tablets to make CDS. Please share your opinion!!!

The goal is: enabling patiënts to make CDS at home as-fool-proof-as-possible. If I am right, this method that I am describing here is the most fool-proof-way.


Manufacturer replied my email: "Thanks for your interest on our product. This is 100% pure Sodium Chloride. No kitchen salt is mixed! The sodium chloride we use in this tablets are 100% Pharmaceutical grade, made in USA."

Method:

• fill up a bottle of water
• put the right amount of HCl is a test tube (maybe by use of a syringe)
• add one tablet
• put the test tube in the bottle (it should float strongly)
• close the botle
• keep the bottle cool over one night (about  15℃= 59℉ )
• get out the test tube and throw content away
• CDS is ready to use

I did not do the math yet. So I do not know yet the needed amount of HCl and it soluted percentage.

How does this method look to you??? Is it safe? Is it more fool-proof?

No, maybe I am the first to try. My goal is to establish most fool-proof way for people to use ClO2 at home.
