CDs 3000ppm testing alternative

Hi I was just wondering if there is any other solution than ordering professional CD test strips? 
maybe a test strip I can source from a local pool shop or hardware etc?

The only other alternative test equipment to measure CLO2 concentration that I know of, is a photometer, plus reagents. A photometer will cost you at least $200. That is what I use to measure CLO2 ppm. Reagents are consumables and need to be constantly replaced when they are used up. 

If you use CLO2 test strips, you can cut them in half length-wise to double the number of strips from 50 to 100.

I am from Canada and getting MMS or CDS concentrate shipped here is almost impossible.

Amazon Canada claims the following is available:Biotraxx Classic Water Purification 1:1 Set, 1x 100ml Hydrochloric Acid 5%, 1x 100ml Sodium Solution 25%. Made in GermanyWould this work to make CDS?

Do I have to dilute the Hydrochloric acid from 5% to 4% before I make a batch of CDS?

If the Biotraxx is really 25% SCS and the HCL is 5%, then you can make CDS with it. The ppm might be a little more than 3000, but that is okay.

Jim, thanks for that link to a Canadian seller. Appears to be located in Canada. He / she is a G2C member selling on their own website. Hope it continues as it is very hard to find MMS products in Canada. 

The Biotraxx product should be fine, except for the price and shipping.
