Will MMS effect my Birth control

I have an mirena IUD and I’m curious if it will effect anything? The iud works because hormones make the vaginal mucus thick. Swimmers can’t get through the thick mucus. Will my body reject my birth control or make it ineffective?

As a side note I am also worried about having metal nipple piercings. Will it make my body reject these as well?

Don't worry about your piercings dropping off. MMS will instead take care off any metal buildup in your breasts.
I wouldn't know if MMS cancels out your birth control app. If you want to be sure then you probably know what to quit for a couple of weeks.

Some reading in the far past, as I recall, said that MMS will negate birth control measures of some types, don't recall which ones.
