DMSO Questions

Does anyone know how long DMSO stays reactive when you put it on your skin? I put DMSO on my face and then 7 hours later had a laser treatment done with a K Class laser. The laser treatment ended up being painful and I'm worried it may have been due to the DMSO that I put on my face that morning, I put DMSO on my face every morning and had forgotten to remove it before the laser treatment. Thanks for any help you can provide.

My guess is that DMSO does not stay on skin very long as it immediately penetrates skin, carrying with it anything that is on your skin.
