Hello Tess;
If I experienced a herxheimer reaction, I would wait until I felt the same as before I started ingesting MMS again. I have no experience with a herxheimer reaction, having ingested MMS for 2 years now. Someone with more experience in this will respond shortly. Thanks for posting. :)

Thank you Bob for such a quick reply. I guess I should have given more details. Just discovered this forum last night. What a wonderful help.
I took MMS about 10 years ago for a few weeks and then gave up. Since then I have purchased Jim's latest book.
Two days ago I began with the quick version of the Starter program. Probably a bad mistake. Woke up yesterday with severe stiff neck and could barely move my head. Very painful to move. Slightly better today.
When I start again I think I will use one eighth drop of MMS1 every hour.
Does it sound like a herx reaction?

Yes is does sound like a Herx. One eighth drop hourly is a good idea, for you.

Are you using 4% HCL MMS activator or 50% citric acid?

Thank you very much CLO2. I think it is HCl that I'm using as an activator. To be honest it did not state that on the bottle. It just said Activator. Whatever it was, it worked better than expected. This is my 2nd day in bed and on the couch!!
Do the herx reactions usually last many days?
I do appreciate your advice. Just to know someone else cares makes it less scary.

Once you get the hang of using MMS, you will be fine. It is very common for new people to overdose. Just reduce dosing and start again at a lower dose. No hurry to increase dosing.

Dear CLO2. Thank you very much for your help. Just 2 more questions.
1. Should I start again right now, or should I wait another 24 hours, when my neck and head may be feeling a bit better?
2. Does the MMS and activator need to be stored in the fridge?
Thanks in advance for taking the trouble to answer my questions.

You may want to wait for a day to see if you return to 'normal' before resuming taking MMS1.

No, you don't have to store MMS or activator in a fridge.

Can you post the link where you bought the set of MMS/activator so I can try to see which activator you have? Thanks.

Thanks very much CLO2. I will begin in 24 hours or so.
Here is the link you requested:
www.mms-products.com.au/buy-mms
(The advert says 4%HCl, but the actual bottle does not. I presume then that I have the HCl.)

Yes, I think that is what you have. It is better than citric acid. :)
