I've put my mother on MMS as she is diabetic. She is rigidly following the start up protocol and now in her second week but still on only 2 drops per hour over an 8 hour day. In the last two days she has developed severe pain in her right foot. She is very concerned and wants to see the doctor but I feel the doctor will insist she stops the MMS. Anyone out there with similar condition and experience?

It just seems to me that your mother's wishes are tantamount here. If she will feel better going to a doctor then take her to the doctor. The pain in her foot could be something unrelated entirely.

I'd recommend you and your mom read and follow this book to put an end to the diabetes - I am and it's working great for me so far. I'm not diabetic at this point but I'm pretty sure I'm close, so that's why I'm currently on a 7 day no food fast. Hope it helps:

100% with you there Scott. I started intermittent fasting about 6 months ago (16/8 method) My type 2 diabetes is long since gone. I am now doing one meal a day. I have more energy, and I even sleep better at night

Taking a quick look at the book on fasting, there is a section on who should NOT fast. On page 144 the example shown would be me except I weigh even less! Therefore, it is NOT recommended that underweight people fast, as they do not have enough body fat on which to survive. Could be dangerous. Just so you know that this idea won't work for every one.

Indeed CLO2. Thanks for letting people know that. Also people on medications, especially insulin, are supposed to talk to their doctors first. The book tells the reader that about 10 times throughout the book to make sure the reader gets that message.
