Jim mentioned that during the protocol, viruses could be overly active. I am wondering if this could cause a redness at an older (1 month) cold sore.
Also, any way you can test for herpes? I am reading that this is not reliable unless you have an outbreak (blood tests don't do it well). so the only way to see if herpes is gone, is to wait it out?

From what I have read, out-breaks (OBs) signal that you still have herpes.
Have you read the testimonial from Ancient Rider?

I do not have an outbreak, just sort of redness. but no typical symptoms, like tingling etc. which later on causes an outbreak.
possibly the virus is active due to taking MMS, which could be a good sign.
