How serious an issue is not putting MMS into my septic tank? Mine was recently redone so I know how expensive it is!
Can I rinse my glass out in the sink after taking a dose?
How about brushing my teeth with MMS? Can I rinse my toothbrush?

Those two examples you gave shouldn't cause any loss of septic tank bacteria.

With all my MMS1, CDS & CDH experimenting over the past ~8 years my septic tank is still working. I do throw away large quantities of those outside, but wash beakers, graduated cylinders, syringes, etc in the kitchen sink.

However.... if you have a chrome or gold colored drain stop (any metal), turn the water on or it will turn black. I had to replace my drain stopper.
Those new copper sinks would be ruined, unless you wash off well immediately. .
