MMS on skin

My husband and I are new to MMS. We are on day 5 taking it internally. My husband made a batch for me to soak my fingers in because they are always inflamed around the nail bed. He used 50 drops and distilled water in a glass bowl in which I soaked my fingers for about 25 minutes. Today, my fingers are a different color than the rest of my hand, they are orange. What do you think caused this? Thanks for your help!
