HOW to treat a cat with FIP with mms

Hello,
I joined today this forum as I am about to receive MMS (and activator) as the last resort to cure my little kitten from FIP.
I only heard about it last week, when a friend of mine suggested me to give it to my kitten and showed me this forum.
He is about 4Kg and 7 months old.
I was suggested to put one drop in a glass and activate it, then add water - 1/3 of glass. then give a little amount as 1ml to the kitten and repeat 3-4 times daily.
He's quite ill, even if he's still eating, so I wonder if the amount should be repeated more often, or less often or what to do.
What's the side effects I can expect to see? I might take a drop myself to see how I feel.
