come down with major cold after first starting

wanted to give the protocol 1000 a go to see if can clear up some things for me. i did 1 whole drop first time then did 1/4 drop 2 times for first day. 2nd day did 1/4 drop 8 times. 3rd day did 1/2 drop 8 times. the very next day came down hard with nasty flu like cold. I never get sick but rarely. cold lasted from tue-sun. Is this normal? will i expect this to happen again if i try protocol again? is this just benefial healing reaction.
