Carefully inhaling CLo2 through the mouth, keeping in mind the caveats Jim has described for this treatment. Sniffing is more for nasal issues and it has often helped me, but I am very careful.

Yes, thanks for your answer. And thanks for the reminder to inhale through your mouth. And that must be done carefully, to inhale on every other breath, so as to not deprive yourself of oxygen, or burn the vocal cords.... right?

It just seems as though inhaling the chlorine dioxide would go straight to the lungs....

isn't that where you want it?
