Effect of MMS on Thyroid [SOLVED] was created by jamesdhearn
Hello to all.
I am believer and user of MMS in the UK, I have defended it's science and validity.
But one thing that has come up in some of the debates with the 'sceptics' is the effect of MMS/Chlorine Dioxide on the thyroid.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
I refer you to the link below on actual studies performed with Chlorine Dioxide and it's effect on the thyroid.
Scientific study

I just think we need to know everything about MMS and it's effects and there's no harm is challenging ourselves and our current position of knowledge.

Look forward to anyone's response on this one.

Many thanks.

The study you referenced was performed 30 years ago, on rats and monkeys. Searching this forum using the search term "thyroid" there were 698 hits. Perhaps you have the time to read all of those comments to possibly find an answer to your question.

MMS has been used for 20 years. I have followed MMS for about 7 years and don't recall anyone mentioning a problem caused by taking MMS. And of course, during that 20 year period there has not been a confirmed death caused by taking MMS. When following G2C approved protocols MMS is reported to recover health from 95% of the world's diseases, not cause problems to the body.

It's probably safe to use. :)

I guess I am antidotal evidence..... but I've been taking MMS1 and 2 for three years now, on and off and I have my TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) tested every year as a routine test and it has stayed the same. And my husband also could say the same.
I imagine is keeps the thyroid clean, and your blood all goes through it, so I'm thinking it would make the thyroid work better. My TSH is 1.21

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I don't need convincing about whether it works, but it's worth being aware of any potential side effects.
I did question the validity of the study because who is to say their biological makeup and thyroid function matches ours.
But thanks again.

Great reply, thanks for taking the time to ask Jim. I concur with everything he stated.
Most modern study on health and drugs has to be questioned because of the credibility of those behind it.

Thank you Dawna, anecdotal evidence is good enough for me - especially if you Thyroid is being tested, I think you would know if there was an issue being caused.
Thanks again.
