• Make a habit of two things:
to help; or at least to do no harm.
• Walking is man's best medicine.

Which countries are you getting reports from about censorship?

Hi,
I watched a you tube video on how to change DNS settings for my computer ( Windows XP ) and in the "internet protocol TCP/IP" box , under the heading of ...
"Use the following DNS server settings", the guy in the video typed in the following numbers, for eg...
preferred --- 8 8 8 8
alternative --- 8 8 4 4
Then i went to your recommended website at: opennicproject.org for DNS settings info and this website said that my nearest DNS servers were 118.252.20.74
When i get to the "internet protocol TCP/IP"box , and this is where i'm a little confused about things, where am i suppose to type in my DNS server numbers, for eg, 118.252.20.74, please advise?
Regards,
romas

It was experienced. We saw several of our websites were blocked on some random ISP in Colombia, which is why I made this thread. The websites worked fine once I changed the DNS servers on those machines in Colombia.
